Rumors have been circulating for the past few weeks about when the next Apple event takes place; the sure winner seemed to be September 9 and Apple finally confirmed it last week. The new upcoming Apple event will take place on September 9, 2014 and Apple is expected to release the new iPhone 6 during this event, as well as releasing more information about the new iOS 8, Apple TV, iPods and the eagerly expected iWatch. Right now, we’re going to take a look at what we expect from the upcoming Apple September 9 Event.
iPhone 6 is the most eagerly awaited tech device in the world right now. Everybody is waiting for Apple to release and speculations are many. We’re going to take a stab at speculating based on all the rumors that have a bit of proof behind them and say that most likely, Apple is going to release two iPhones at its upcoming Apple September 9 Event: one with a 4.7-inch screen and a 5.5-inch model. Apple simply must offer its clients a larger smartphone, otherwise it will lose them.
Another other things we will most certainly see in the new iPhone 6 is a sapphire screen. There have been reports saying that Apple bought a large amount of the material earlier this year. Sapphire glass is currently present only on the home button of iPhone 5s and an entire iPhone made of the stuff means that the new iPhone 6 is going to be one tough cookie.
What else? The usual: a faster processor, a few more sensors added, such as the barometric pressure sensor and a NFC radio that could make mobile payments much easier to perform.
The iWatch
The iWatch is coming and if Apple’s not going to launch the new iWatch in its upcoming Apple September 9 event, then a lot of people are going to be disappointed. We have plenty of rumors about the new iPhone 6, but rumor list about the iWatch is quite short. To be honest, all of the rumors about the iWatch are just that, rumors. We have nothing concrete to show to you and Apple could very well decide to launch their iWatch later in the year and let iPhone 6 be the star of its September 9 event.
If they do choose to launch iWatch at their upcoming Apple September 9 event, then we’re probably going to see an extraordinary device, with plenty of sensors, a great HealthKit app and plenty of biometrics to keep us busy and entertained.
iPads in the Upcoming Apple September 9 Event?
We don’t think so! Apple has usually presented Macs and iPads together and a new iPad will just steal iPhone 6’s thunder.
iPod
We haven’t had a new iPod since 2012, when Apple revealed the 7th generation iPod Nano and the 5th generation iPod touch. Some sources are saying that a new iPod is coming our way and it will be presented at the upcoming Apple September 9 event. Our guess is that Apple isn’t going to release a new iPod and that it’s going to focus all of its resources in developing a new iPhone and iWatch. As far as the world is concerned, the iPod is obsolete. Everyone has a smartphone that is capable of playing music and another device for the sole purpose of playing music doesn’t make sense in the world we are living in. The only scenario in which Apple is going to come up with a new iPod is one that will involve an iPod with a much higher fidelity. Is it going to happen? Let’s just wait and see.
